This second kill will complete the objective and unlock your next objective. Time will slow down and you have ample time to line up and deliver a kill shot to the running animal (that is now stopped). Use Hunter Sense once again to find an animal on the run and when it is in close range hit exit Hunter Sense mode and hit to enter adrenaline mode. At this point your adrenaline should be full, which is good because the other animals are now most likely running for the hills with Rambo in town. If the shot was long enough it will trigger a cut scene and you have one Elk bagged. Take aim on an animal and pull the trigger. You can make this mistake 3 times per hunt before they make you start over. Sometimes other large game species (like deer) will be in the same area and you are not allowed to shoot species you do not have tags for. When the animal is in the scope you should see some information about it on the left side of the screen. Leave Hunter Sense mode and raise your scope onto the animal. Scan around and you should see some fairly tame animals probably lying around the field. Go to him and you have completed the objective and unlocked your next objective.
